Designshak is a full custom shop for websites, branding, custom logo, video, and print. You have dreams and goals for your company, we hope to have answers to making those a reality. There are many things that we do as mothers, fathers, brothers, etc. that don’t really mean much. Sometimes I’m reminded of my mortality and the short time that I have as an opportunity to make a difference or mark on history if you will. As we go grocery shopping, worry, get married, start a career to name a few among millions of decisions that lead to actions that lead to results and at the end of the day that’s all we have. Results that is.

I view my artistic ability as a gift that I am responsible for in how it’s used or not used. I think it is difficult to say how much of an impact that I leave on those around me but I know that I will do my best to make it great.

Since I was about 6 years old I’ve always drawn instead of doing my school work or would rush to get my subjects completed so that I could draw Dark Wing Duck. Now, years later I’ve had the oportunity to work in the creation of websites, print materials, animation, video production and editing, name brand building, etc. I guess I’ve never meet a lazy person who is passionate about something. I think that the passion is definately what keeps me going.

Passion is good…if you cultivate it and help it to grow.

Designshak is proud to announce Caleb Prochnow as one of it’s team members and is our in house illustrator. Caleb has taught illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design. Caleb’s colorful and wide-ranging artistic ability has given him the opportunity to work with companies such as Disney, Universal Studios, Nascar, Ron Jon Surf Shop, EA Games, Mercedes Medical and many more. Currently, some of his recent work has been with a children’s book author of which some of the illustrations are featured here on the site.

Some of the awards Caleb has recently received is Society of Illustrators, Spectrum, Best of Ringling, Darkhorse Scholarship, CMYK, Massive Black Thunderdome Winner.

Chris Florence is our creative director and is a hopeless dreamer when it comes to life in general. His skill sets include web design layout, web type setting, video directing, producing, and editing. Chris has tried his hands at print design but that is best left up to another member of our team, Kevin Hendrix. Chris has a BA in business admin. which means he knows a lot about theory but the real world classroom is where he gets the real education. There is also some art in his story and spent most of his time in front of an easel painting with acrylics. These days digital art is his passion and video production.

Anthony Atkinson is the owner of Lumination Solutions, web developer and networking expert trained under the highly-respected, almost grueling CISCO® curriculum. His background with computers and technology started in his childhood at the age of 11, and he has seen
and become familiar with all operating systems from MS-DOS to Windows 3.1 to Windows 95/98 to Windows XP and Windows Vista.

Anthony is familiar with building custom computers, and is also proficient in many programming lanuages including Visual Basic, PHP, Ruby on Rails, HTML, and SQL. Technical knowledge aside, Anthony is a relaxed, friendly individual who enjoys providing solutions to help businesses and individuals succeed at whatever it is they do.

Kevin Hendrix is our rock star print media extraordinaire. Kevin will create the most professional letter head you’ve ever seen and will also cover any print copy that is needed. You name it, tri-folds, bi-folds, business cards, door hangars, newsletters, or any other propaganda item with your company logo on it. He is also versed in CD cover art as well. Your wish is his command.

Kevin is well versed in the Adobe suite of products including Illustrator, Photoshop and In Design. When you need somebody who thinks outside the box and isn’t afraid to emplement he’s your man.
