Let’s talk about coming soon pages for a second. Traditionally coming soon pageshave been cheesy pics with a guy with a pick axe or shovel and the caption will read, ”Please ExcuseOur Dust.” or something that my grandpa would say.

Coming soon pages can have some utility to it. I’m serious, it’s okay, I promise. What is most popular are people who sit around and just think up domain names that people might visit thinking they were going somewhere else only to be disappointed to see 15% off of something useless you don’t need. You know the sites, they have like 1,000,000 banner ads and such. It is cluttered with useless stuff just waiting for you like a begger on 5th Ave. in Manhattan.

Other useful coming soon pages collect very important data like the one we have for WiseChoice. These guys, as they hand out their business cards, will be able to lead people here and they can sign up to wait for them to open up shop. Wouldn’t you want a line waiting to visit you waiting outside of your business? These guys are now poised to receive that kind of attention. Just another way to help messure results coming from your website.
